My Ginetta Junior Scholarship Experience — A Day I’ll Never Forget

I had an amazing day at the Ginetta Junior Scholarship event! It felt like everything I’ve worked for in motorsport came together. Just being there was a huge milestone.

Driving the Ginetta G40 was a dream come true. From the moment I got in, I knew it would be special. When I hit the track for the first time? It felt surreal, like the car was floating. Every corner, every straight, and every shift just clicked. It was one of the most exciting drives I’ve ever had.

The atmosphere was electric all day. Everyone had serious talent, and the competition was fierce. I gave it my all, lap after lap, session after session. I was focused, soaking up feedback, and pushing to improve.

Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the final round. That stung a bit, but I was still proud of my effort. I was told I came really close and I just narrowly missed out.

This experience deepened my love for racing. Being around like-minded drivers and industry pros? It ignited a fire in me.

I’m more motivated than ever. I’ve seen what’s possible, and I’m eager to keep growing and learning. I may not have taken home the scholarship, but I gained something just as valuable: confidence, experience, and a clear vision for my future.

I can’t wait to see what next year brings.
