My First Team sport Junior Championship Win – A Milestone I’ll Never Forget
Share
Winning first place in the TeamSport Junior Championship (TSJC) is a moment I’ll always remember. All the early mornings, practice laps, mistakes, and improvements led to this. It still hasn’t fully sunk in, but I know this is just the beginning.
When the lights went out, I felt something shift. Everything clicked, the lines, the braking points, the rhythm. Lap after lap, I kept pushing. Before I knew it, I had a 12-second gap from the pack. That number still amazes me. Seeing my hard work turn into such a strong performance is a feeling I can’t fully describe.
One of the most intense moments came near the end of the race. I was closing in fast on a back marker. I pushed the kart as hard as I could, searching for the right spot to make a clean pass. Just as I was about to go for it—boom, the checkered flag dropped. Part of me wanted that last move, but I knew the job was done.
That near-overtake adds to the story. It reminds me there’s always more to chase, more to learn, and more moments to create.
This win has fired me up even more. It proves the progress is real. I feel it in my driving, I have more control, and more confidence.
